Eve-Lauryn LaFountain is a Turtle Mountain Chippewa and Jewish multimedia artist from Santa Fe, NM. She uses her art practice to explore her Native American and Jewish heritage. Through photography, film and installation she investigates the legacies she’s inherited. She mostly uses celluloid film and pushes her images through various mediums to see what translations occur. LaFountain received her BA from Hampshire College in Amherst, MA. She is currently a dual MFA candidate at the California Institute of the Arts in the programs in Photography & Media and Film & Video.
