Meghan Gordon (b. 1985, New York NY) is an artist based in Los Angeles CA. Gordon makes videos and installations, performs, writes, and facilitates events. Her recent projects explore intersections between life insurance, sex, karaoke, online video game communities, family relationships, exploitation, representation, and narrative. In addition to a studio based practice, Gordon currently operates a bar sometimes called some times, organizes an informal lecture/dinner series called In-n out, and recently co-directed an unofficial residency program at California Institute of the Arts called locksmith, Inn. Gordon is a member of neverhitsend, a collective performatively researching communications ideology, which has exhibited at Monte Vista Projects, 356Mission, and StorQuest.
