Susanne Melanie is a southern California native who holds a bachelors degree from UCLA in Fine Art with a minor in Visual and Performing Arts Education.
Her practice includes photography, self-produced books, sculpture, video, installations, and interventions.
She has exhibited in Los Angeles, New York, Austria, Germany, London, and Australia.
Venues have included New Image Art Gallery, Jaus, Nyehaus (Nye House), Prism LA, the California Heritage Museum, and the Museum of Contemporary Art Los Angeles (MOCA).
Her books are sold at MOCA, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Printed Matter, and the Newsstand.
