Paul Rosero Contreras (b. Ecuador, 1982) is working in the gap of biological phenomena and audiovisual platforms. He has received his Master’s in Cognitve Systems and Interactive Media from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain, as well as a Pos-grade in Technologies of Communication from FLACSO, Argentina. Rosero is currently pursuing a MFA in Art and Technology at the California Institute of the Arts. His cross-disciplinary interests include photography, experimental sound, coding and performance as dj.
His work has been displayed at Mussee Quai Branly, Paris – France, Instituto Cervantes, Roma – Italy, Museo de Historia, Zaragoza – Spain, Galeria Virgilio, Sao Paulo – Brazil, Central Galley of Massachussets University, Boston, USA  and Cuenca Biennial, Cuenca- Ecuador, among others venues.
